Indian Railways launching Summer Special Trains for 2015

Indian Railways will be launching several Summer special trains for this year to ease the traffic.

Summer time is a really busy one for the Indian Railways. Children have their Summer vacations and nag their parents to go somewhere. Which is why there is a lot of rush during the April-July period, as many people go places to enjoy their vacations.

Which is why Indian Railways have launched many Summer special trains for your tours and travels around India this summer. They will run from April 1 to July 1, which covers the vacation time for most people. Here are the details of the Summer special trains that will run

1. Bhubaneshwar to Bangalore Cantt. to Bhubhaneshwar via Vijayawada (Premium Bi-Weekly)- Train no 00851/00852 :

Train no 00851 will start from Bhubaneshwar at 10:50 PM every Wednesday and Saturday. It will reach Bangalore Cantt. at 10:40 PM every Thursday and Sunday.
Train no 00852 is the return train which will leave every Friday and Monday at 1:00 AM and will take almost the same amount of time in the journey.
These trains will make stops at Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Renigunta and Jolarpettai in the journeys.

2. Visakhapatnam to Tirupati to Visakhapatnam via Vijayawada (Weekly)- Train no 02873/02874 :

Train no 02873 will start from Visakhapatnam at 04:45 AM every Monday. It will reach Tirupati at 04:30 PM every Tuesday.
Train no 02874 is the return train which will leave every Tuesday at 04:00 PM and will reach by 05:15 AM on Wednesday.
These trains will make stops at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Vijayawada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry and Renigunta in the journeys.

3. Bhubaneshwar to Pune to Bhubhaneshwar via Vijayawada and Secunderabad (Premium Weekly)- Train no 02882/02881 :

Train no 02882 will start from Bhubaneshwar at 10:15 PM every Sunday. It will reach Pune at 05:00 AM on Tuesday .It will make a stop at Secunderabad on 04:10 PM on Monday for 10 minutes.
Train no 02881 is the return train which will leave every Tuesday 11:15 AM and will make a 15 minutes stop at Secunderabad on the same day and reach Bhubaneshwar at 05:35 AM on Wednesdays
These trains will make stops at Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Secunderabad and Solapur in the journeys.

4. Sambalpur to Yesvantpur to Sambalpur (Weekly)- Train no 08301/08302 :

Train no 08301 will start from Sambalpur at 08:50 AM every Wednesday. It will reach Yesvantpur at 04:30 PM on Thursday, making a stop at Vijayawada at 1:45 AM for 10 minutes
Train no 08302 is the return train which will leave every Friday at 12:30 AM and will reach Sambalpur at 6:15 the Next day.
These trains will make stops at Bargarh, Bolangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Bobbili, Vijayanagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Tirupati, Pakala, Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai and Krishnarajapuram in the journeys.

5. Secunderabad to Viskhapatnam to Secunderabad via Vijayawada (Weekly)- Train no 08502/08501 :


Train no 08502 will start from Secunderabad at 04:30 PM every Tuesday. It will reach Visakhapatnam at 06:30 PM the next day.
Train no 08501 is the return train which will leave every Wednesday at 11:00 PM and will reach Secunderabad on 11:45 AM the next day.
These trains will make stops at Kazipet, Warangal, Vijayawada, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada in the journeys.

These are some of the special Summer Trains for tours and travels that were launched for the Summer Period. This move was much appreciated as it will reduce the load for the general trains and will allow more people to travel to these destinations.

    Railways will operate special trains during the summer vacation, informed the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC).

    The IRCTC said that the Bharat Darshan train will conduct service from Madurai to destinations in north India, via Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Shoranur, Palakkad, Podanur, Erode, Salem and Vijayawada.

    The trip covers tourist places such as Haridwar, Varanasi, Gaya, Puri, Konark and Visakhapatnam. The train will carry only Bharat Darshan tourists.

    The train will start from Madurai on May 23, and will pass through Kerala on May 24. The cost of the tour package is `7,500, which includes non-AC sleeper class ticket, non-AC accommodation, non-AC buses for sight-seeing and vegetarian food.

    The unique features of the package include tourist guards and security guards on each of the 10 coaches, which includes the pantry car, audio system for important announcements, music, and on and off-board catering services.
